The waiter, Francis Drew, shares his experiences of working at a local coffee shop for years, serving a poor and lonely woman named Eliza. Although the job wasn’t his dream, he enjoyed the free coffee and the camaraderie of his co-workers.
Francis, who was raised in an orphanage and never knew what it meant to love and care for someone else, found a sense of familial love among his colleagues. He had always loved acting and dreamed of becoming a professional actor, but the lack of consistent work forced him to take a job at the coffee shop to save up for drama college.
