According to the police officials, the mother, later identified as 34-year-old Mina was arrested and later charged with murder with a dangerous weapon and child abuse resulting in death after she reportedly killed her 4-year-old daughter Sana and tried to kill her 10-year-old son, who was not identified due to his age.
Police officials also believe the fatal stabbing was premeditated. The children’s dad, Fahim, reportedly found his daughter and called the authorities.
The responding officers reportedly discovered that the mother fatally stabbed her daughter and also tried to stab her 10-year-old son.
