After Lawren Cole Galloway’s 14-year-old daughter brought home a baby, she had little sympathy for the poor girl, even though she was obviously exhausted and in tears.
As a mom of four, Lawren knew exactly what it felt like to be up all night trying to comfort a crying infant, this just wasn’t her problem to deal with.
Of course mom wasn’t without a heart. She made sure to take plenty of pictures of her struggling daughter every chance she could get.
Having a baby before she was ready for one is a lesson that Lawren felt the teen needed to learn, and doing it now while she could still give the baby back to its owner was as good a time as any.

Thankfully, the baby that daughter Olivia brought home wasn’t actually a real one! It was as fake as a plastic Barbie doll, but he did have a name, and “real” needs. As mom explained on her Facebook page:
“Meet William. He’s Olivia’s interactive baby assignment for her Early Childhood Education Class. Now, meet Olivia with William. She’s had him since Friday night. She is absolutely exhausted and ready to quit the class and give William back. (Maybe even throw him back).”
Lawren said that it’s been a learning experience, and her favorite moment was when Olivia came into her room at 3am, but this real-life mom wasn’t having any of that!
“She was crying real tears while feeding him his bottle. She was begging me to help her because she just wanted to get some sleep. ?? Yeah, no.”
Olivia is the eldest of four kids, and while the teen was shedding crocodile tears over her fake baby, mom Lawren was actually caring for a real one: her 3-week-old newborn.
