Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9303 Town Park Drive about 6:40 p.m. on Tuesday (October 21).
The identity of the victim, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homocide Division Sergeants C. Ponder and J. Gardner reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and located a male with gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Investigators learned the victim entered the apartment complex and was followed by an unknown male suspect who had exited a black SUV or van. The suspect, who was wearing a black ski mask, ran to the complainant, fired multiple shots and fled on foot.
