Houston police are investigating the fatal crash at 4400 Airport Boulevard about 2:35 a.m. today (October 20).
The identity of the deceased male is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rose and Officer V. Taylor reported:
A red Ford F150 was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed at the above address. The vehicle left the roadway, entered a protected median area and struck a raised manhole, causing the vehicle to roll over. The driver was ejected. Paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
