Police officials said the mother, later identified as 27-year-old Susan, was arrested and later charged with aggravated child abuse after she reportedly t0rtured and beat her 1-year-old daughter so severly the child suffered bleding skull fracture and has been in a vegetative state fort the last 4 months.
The mother was taken into custody and held on a substantial bond, while her 1-year-old daughter remained in a vegetative state after months in the hospital.
