Trippin Taco Brings Halal Mexican Fusion to Houston

Houston’s ever-evolving food scene is welcoming a new player: Trippin Taco, a halal Mexican food truck launching November 8.

A New Concept on Wheels

Founded by restaurateur Ahmad Kilani — the force behind Clutch City Cluckers — the truck merges bold Mexican flavors with halal ingredients, appealing to both traditional and adventurous eaters.

Menu highlights include spicy birria tacos, loaded nachos, and Mexican street corn infused with signature halal sauces.

A Community-Focused Vision

Kilani says the goal is to create “inclusive comfort food” that reflects Houston’s diverse culture. The launch event will feature free samples, giveaways, and live entertainment.

The Bigger Picture

Halal dining is one of Houston’s fastest-growing food trends, with new ventures emerging in Midtown, Sugar Land, and Spring Branch.

Trippin Taco joins this movement — a flavorful expression of Houston’s multicultural heart.
